Sanger Mayor Pro Tem Daniel Martinez Endorses Annalisa Perea for State Assembly
Martinez cites Perea’s proven leadership and commitment to uplifting working families in the Central Valley
FRESNO, CA – Sanger Mayor Pro Tem Daniel Martinez has endorsed Fresno City Councilmember Annalisa Perea in her campaign for State Assembly District 31, joining a growing coalition of local leaders rallying behind her candidacy.
Mayor Pro Tem Martinez praised Perea’s results-driven leadership and commitment to the region. “Annalisa is a champion for the Valley. She has always been someone who shows up, listens, and gets things done. I’ve seen firsthand how committed she is to making real change for working families, and I’m proud to endorse her for the State Assembly.”
Perea expressed her appreciation for Martinez’s support and his dedication to public service.
“Mayor Pro Tem Martinez is a strong voice for the people of Sanger, and I’m honored to have his endorsement. I look forward to continuing to work with local leaders across the Valley to create safer communities, expand economic opportunity, and deliver the investments our region deserves.”
Perea currently serves on the Fresno City Council, where she was elected Council President in 2024. In that role, she secured millions in public safety funding, expanded affordable housing, and led key negotiations to increase city revenues without raising taxes.
A lifelong Central Valley resident and the granddaughter of working-class immigrants, Perea’s campaign continues to resonate with voters who want a leader deeply rooted in the community and ready to deliver real results for the Valley.
