Fresno Chamber of Commerce Endorses Annalisa Perea for State Assembly

Business leaders back Perea’s campaign, highlighting her proven leadership and commitment to economic growth.

FRESNO, CA – The Fresno Chamber of Commerce, one of the region’s most influential business organizations, has officially endorsed Fresno City Councilmember Annalisa Perea for State Assembly District 31. This endorsement underscores the growing support from local business leaders who trust Perea to champion economic development, job creation, and a thriving small-business environment in the Central Valley.

Scott Miller, CEO of the Fresno Chamber of Commerce, commended Annalisa Perea: “During her time on the city council, Annalisa has been a tireless champion for small businesses in our region. She is a pragmatic, solutions-oriented leader who specializes in bringing opposing sides together to solve problems. She will be an effective and powerful force for Central Valley businesses and workers when she is in the Assembly.”

Perea, a lifelong Fresno resident with a deep background in public service and community planning, has consistently prioritized policies that strengthen the region’s workforce and expand economic opportunity. “I’m incredibly honored to receive the endorsement of the Fresno Chamber of Commerce,” said Councilmember Annalisa Perea. “Our small businesses are the heartbeat of this community, and I’m committed to helping them grow, innovate, and create good-paying jobs. In the Assembly, I’ll work every day to support a strong, resilient economy that lifts up families across the Valley.”

Perea currently serves on the Fresno City Council and was unanimously elected Council President in 2024. Throughout her tenure, she has prioritized the core issues that matter to employers and working families alike: public safety, stable city finances, and creating the conditions for long-term economic success. A certified city planner and former community college trustee, she brings a practical, on-the-ground understanding of how to grow a region and expand opportunity.

As support continues to build, Perea’s campaign is resonating with voters who want a leader deeply rooted in the Central Valley and committed to delivering real results for working families and local businesses.
