Local leaders in Southeast Fresno County back Perea’s campaign to fight for working families and rural communities.
PARLIER, CA – A majority of the Parlier City Council - Councilmembers Cathryn “Kathy” Solorio, Diego G. Garza, and Juanita Molina - have officially endorsed Fresno City Councilmember Annalisa Perea for State Assembly District 31.
Their endorsements mark growing support for Perea’s campaign reflect her strong ties to communities across Fresno County.
“Annalisa understands what it means to represent working families in communities like Parlier,” said Councilmember Cathryn ‘Kathy’ Solorio. “She’s accessible, grounded, and focused on real solutions, I’m proud to stand with her.”
Councilmember Diego G. Garza added, “We need leaders who don’t just talk about the Valley but who live here, work here, and show up. Annalisa is one of us, and she’s never forgotten where she comes from.”
Councilmember Juanita Molina emphasized Perea’s connection with voters: “People feel heard when Annalisa is in the room. She listens, she follows through, and she’s going to bring that same dedication to Sacramento.”
“These leaders know what it means to serve working families in rural communities and I’m incredibly honored to have their support”, said Councilmember Annalisa.
Perea, who currently serves on the Fresno City Council, has built a reputation for collaboration, problem-solving, and deep community engagement. As Council President in 2024, she helped strengthen public safety, expanded affordable housing, and negotiated a landmark agreement that brought new revenue into city services without raising taxes.
A lifelong Central Valley resident and the granddaughter of a cannery worker, Perea’s campaign continues to resonate with working-class voters who want a leader rooted in the region and ready to deliver results.
