Supervisors Luis Chavez and Brian Pacheco cite Perea’s proven leadership and commitment to working families across the region.
FRESNO, CA – Two members of the Fresno County Board of Supervisors, Luis Chavez and Brian Pacheco, have announced their endorsements of Fresno City Councilmember Annalisa Perea for State Assembly District 31. Their support underscores Perea’s broad appeal and trusted leadership across the Central Valley.
Supervisor Luis Chavez praised Perea’s people-centered approach. “Annalisa is a proven leader who puts people first. She’s focused on the issues that matter, from public safety to economic opportunity, and she gets things done. I know she’ll be a strong voice for Fresno County in the Assembly.”
Supervisor Brian Pacheco emphasized her commitment to working families. “Annalisa Perea has never forgotten the working families who keep our community running. She’s collaborative, thoughtful, and ready to deliver for all of us. I’m proud to endorse her for the State Assembly.”
“I’m honored to have the support of both Supervisor Chavez and Supervisor Pacheco,” said Councilmember Annalisa Perea. “They are trusted leaders who know their communities well, and I’m proud to have worked alongside them to tackle local challenges. In Sacramento, I’ll continue to advocate for policies that strengthen Fresno County, from safer neighborhoods and affordable housing to job creation and smart investments in infrastructure.”
Perea currently serves on the Fresno City Council and was elected Council President in 2024. In that role, she secured millions in public safety funding, expanded affordable housing, and led key negotiations to boost city revenues without raising taxes. A certified city planner and former community college trustee, Perea brings both technical expertise and deep grassroots experience to the campaign.
A lifelong Central Valley resident and the granddaughter of working-class immigrants, Perea’s campaign continues to resonate with voters who want a leader rooted in community and ready to deliver results.
