Councilmember recognized for her commitment to city employees and strong public service
FRESNO, CA — Fresno City Councilmember Annalisa Perea has earned the endorsement of the Fresno City Employees Association (FCEA) in her campaign for State Assembly District 31. Representing non-supervisory city employees since 1957, Fresno City Employees Association advocates for fair treatment, safe workplaces, and the professional growth of Fresno’s municipal workforce.
The endorsement reflects Perea’s ongoing efforts to work closely with city employees and support the programs and services that keep Fresno running smoothly. Fresno City Employees Association members are instrumental in everything from administrative operations to frontline public services, and Perea has consistently highlighted the value of their work in shaping a thriving community.
“I’m honored to receive the Fresno City Employees Association’s endorsement,” said Perea. “City employees keep Fresno’s services running smoothly and efficiently every day. Their expertise, dedication, and professionalism make a real difference in our community, and I will work in Sacramento to ensure they have the support, resources, and policies needed to continue their vital work.”
Perea currently serves on the Fresno City Council and served as Council President in 2024. A lifelong Central Valley resident and certified city planner, she has spent her career focused on building strong, equitable communities, supporting public employees, and delivering meaningful results for local families.
